Other examples: Condé Nast shows videos from the world of fashion, cinema, TV, lifestyle tech; Radio 105 publishes podcasts and gives the possibility to send a rating on what happens “on air” with the BUZZ button; with Yoox, by shaking the phone you receive advice from the personal stylist, as well as discounts and promotions; Alessandra.
Amoroso and Giorgio Chiellini send
Special content and offer an additional channel of dialogue with fans. A more striking case is offered by Starbucks China: by writing your mood through the official channel, you received in response the link of the song most suited to that emotional moment. The National Museum of China is also not bad : inside the exhibition, users can insert the code linked to the work; a photo and audio guide of the requested work automatically appears on your smartphone.
My personal opinion After an initial negative feeling
I changed my mind a bit: in my head the benchmark was with Whatsapp but it is clear that WeChat and Whatsapp are totally different worlds. WeChat is in all respects a Social Network based on news in the style of Facebook , on short messages korea email list like Twitter , on geolocalization services like Swarm/Foursquare , on communications in the style of Whatsapp and Skype , on photo streams (the moments ) like Instagram , on chats with strangers (like Chatroulette ), but it also has its own “soul”, offering new ways of interacting, specific e-commerce and promotion services.
Below some very personal pros and cons
PRO Like Facebook, Twitter and all the new, more established communication channels, WeChat is a real world , which connects businesses and users in multiple ways that I would never have imagined. It allows brands to communicate in a unique way , in a manner very similar to that offered by Facebook fan pages or a company website. AGAINST The search in the app is not at all effective, it is crude : finding the Corriere della Sera account was a difficult task.
I found it after several attempts by entering
The graphics and usability of the app are at their lowest: too many things left to chance in this sense, in my humble opinion. The app blogging as a side job is finally here! is ugly, using it does not give me a great user experience. In support of this, there is a possible future feature that a few selected users are testing: the search for old posts by keywords.
I’m taking up the news reported by
Julius Design : through Facebook’s Graph cg leads Search it would be possible to quickly find friends’ posts in the smartphone and tablet versions. An increasingly effective search engine within Facebook, where content – reported by friends, therefore reliable sources for the reader – is not lacking: yet another reason to think carefully about the content and especially the titles of your texts published online and then spread on Facebook.
