March 2024 results – 73.2k turnover and 19.4k profit

“I want to make 80k in March. There is no other option.” These were my words when I did the summary for February. In the end, there was another option. We were more or less 20% below what I would have liked to achieve. It’s not bad, but it’s not something to sing songs about and pat yourself on the back.

After falling in February, we have even surpassed January. I say “even” but taking into account that we were in March and it was the Easter shopping month, at least for countries like Germany, Lego has disappointed. This is probably where most of the 7k or so of turnover that we needed to reach the goal has been lost. Pokémon – 13.3k profit

One of the reasons has been that we have missed the opportunity to work on optimizing the listings that were key for these dates. We have stopped passing up that opportunity.

I will stop talking about the top sellers ʻAʻole hiki ke nānā in a moment. Nothing new here. The existing stock continues to be sold. Once again the result of 0.3k profit is repeated.

Better ROI – 1.1k profit
Once again we have dropped 0.1k. It is something fans data that we need to analyse in more detail to understand the reasons behind it. One of the objectives this year was to increase turnover and as 2024 has started we are seeing the opposite. It is time to take action now.

First product – 0.7k profit

In our first product, sales remain stable. We have dropped a little from 0.8k to 0.7k but it is nothing that worries me. We have had several stock-outs that should not have happened but that are part of the explanation for this result. I do not yet have the overall sales results for our brands but I sense that the overall evolution of the entire product range should be positive.
